My name is Crissy and I am a mother of four wonderful children. Two sons and two daughters. I am a licensed Cosmetologist and teach Cosmetology part-time.
My love for couponing and saving money started when I was a teenager. I was watching a morning program and they had on the original coupon queen, Susan Sumtur, live from New York. She had purchased $500.00 worth of groceries and only paid around $4.00. So I started clipping coupons immediately. At that point I knew then I was hooked.
As my family grew I was glad to save money with my couponing skills. I would hold couponing workshops at our local library when my kids were babies. I have learned a lot over the past years and want to share with you my money saving techniques.
Often I save over 50% on my groceries and get many of my items for free. In the last few years I have been teaching couponing workshops at our local college and other various businesses in my community. With having a large family I have also learned other ways to save money.

This site, unlike many other frugal living websites, will help teach you how to do much of this for yourself, while also providing you information on many of the mistakes often made when trying to live more frugally.
Also different from many other frugal living websites, this site will provide information on other aspects of frugal living, not just coupons or sales.
