Wouldn’t you love to make a 3 tier kitchen stand? I see the galvanized tiered stands everywhere I shop. They really give a farm house look to any room. These stands come in handy for storing items and you can also group items in them for any theme. Maybe as a coffee or tea serving station.
Another idea is a holder for candy or fruits even can be used in a bathroom to hold necessities. If you decide to paint yours than always put food in small bowls or containers. It’s never good to put food items on painted surfaces as it would make the food unsafe. I found some plain pie pans and some cheap wooden candlesticks and turned them into this 3 tiered stand.
Items Needed
- 8″ pie pan or cake pans
- 9″ pie pan
- 10″ pie pan
- 2 wooden candle sticks, remember to look for the height you want between the pans.
- Glue (E 600)
Directions
- Glue the candlesticks to the cake pans. Let them dry overnight.
- Paint if desired, silver metallic is popular.
Notes: That’s all there is to it, yeah I know, as simple as it can get! Just a few simple steps and you have a homemade stand.
Final Word: DIY 3 Tier Kitchen Stand
The cake pans can be found at flea markets for a more used distressed look. You can purchase them also at the craft stores and use their stores coupon for a better price. Same with the glue and paint.
These tiered stands come in handy when you have limited counter space. Great for organizing all the small stuff in one spot. The fun part is filling up the tiers. You can be creative and also use them for parties, holidays etc. For Easter I will put some decorative eggs and bunnies on mine. I love that you can change the theme for each holiday or event.
So whatever your need is for this functional piece you can proudly display it and share that it was homemade by you.
